A facial is ideal for anyone - Women, Men and Teens.

  • Don’t wear makeup to your appointment.
  • Don’t shave or wax any treatment areas like brows, face, or lips.
  • Remember to tell your aesthetician about any medications you’re taking and any allergies you have.
  • Don’t schedule your appointment too close to a major event. Depending on the type of treatment you get, you could experience redness or peeling for a few days after. Book your appointment about five to seven days before your event.
  • Avoid drinking caffeine too close to your appointment time. It can cause facial twitching or make it hard to relax.
  • Make sure to stop using chemical exfoliants and potential irritants a week or so before your treatment.

In most cases you should not have a reaction to a facial. It is possible that an allergic reaction may occur if a product is used that contains an ingredient that you may be allergic to. Sometimes you may develop an allergy to an ingredient that you have been using for a while. This happens very rarely. Please inform your aesthetician of all possible allergies you may have so that we can make your experience the best possible.

If you should experience a reaction after a facial, depending on how severe it is, you may want to take an OTC allergy medication to reduce symptoms. It is important to notify your aesthetician as soon as possible if you experience any negative reactions. If necessary, your aesthetician can take a look at your skin and give you further instruction as well as try to identify allergens. It is extremely important that your aesthetician knows about this, so that when you come in for your next facial, those products can be avoided.

Wrinkles are a natural result of aging, but you can delay their onset or minimize their appearance. To do so, limit sun exposure, wear sunscreen every day, and use skin products that contain antioxidants, peptides and retinoids to help reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Regular professional facial treatments aid in preventative and corrective care and will help maintain the condition and health of your skin.

This is one of the most common skin care questions. Many experts advise that you begin using anti-aging products in your 20s and continue to incorporate them as part of your daily skin care routine. This is because collagen production starts to dwindle in our mid to late 20s and early 30s.

Facials are the most effective therapies for deeper cleaning. With the aid of softening agents, facial modalities such as ultrasound, hydro therapy, vacuum and manual extractions follicular debris can be removed to unclog pores during a facial treatment.

Advanced Treatments

In one study, 40% of patients treated with microdermabrasion once every two weeks for 16 weeks saw their age spots completely disappear. The patients receive micro dermabrasion and a chemical peel, had better results.

While it is possible to wear makeup after Dermaplaning, it is recommended to avoid wearing heavy makeup or using makeup brushes for the first 24 hours after the procedure. This will allow your skin to fully heal and reduce the risk of any irritation or infection.

The hair will grow back, but it won't change in color or thickness. Dermaplaning is most like shaving, merely a close cut of the hair and so It has zero effect on hair follicles and, thus, no effect on hair growth.

For best results 1x every 1-3 weeks. Because it physically removes the outermost layer of skin, it is considered a more intensive form of exfoliation and overdoing it can cause irritation.

After a medium or deep peel, you will have some downtime. A deep chemical peel is generally 1 to 2 weeks recuperation while the layers of skin shed.

Waxing

During a waxing treatment the hair is accurately removed from the follicle we're as shaving just cuts it at the surface. Therefore the skin is smoother longer and the potential for ingrown hairs or razor bumps is lessened. Post waxing, new hair emerges softer and overtime the density may change.

A Brazilian wax removes hair from the front area, all the in-between hairs and the hair between the cheeks. With a Bikini wax, hair is removed from the outside areas as seen in a bathing suit or underwear.

Depending on your hair growth pattern, the amount of time between treatments would be anywhere from 3 to 6 weeks.

The effects of a lash lift usually last for around 6 to 8 weeks. Lashes appear longer and more defined with a lift and being consistent will help to hold its shape. Clients with oily skin may find results may not last as long.
